Sammaekyung - Enfin, je crois avoir vécu is a staged reading created for Musée Guimet by Korea's National Theater Company, adapting Ham Se-deok's 1939 play The Little Monk, directed by Lee Chul Hui. It follows an aging actor who, after death, enters a liminal state (referencing the Buddhist concept of samādhi) where past and present blur, coming to see his perceived failure as another form of fulfillment. Performed in Korean with French supertitles, running 2 hours, it is staged twice as the same production - Friday, November 13, 2026 at 8pm and Saturday, November 14, 2026 at 2:30pm - at the Jean-François Jarrige Auditorium; tickets €16 (full) / €7 (reduced).
