This screening at the Centre Culturel Coréen (Paris) is part of a special Ciné-Club Corée series marking the 140th anniversary of France-Korea diplomatic relations, focused on the Seokguram grotto UNESCO site and Korean historical/Buddhist heritage. On October 8 at 7pm, the center screens Gyeongju (2014, dir. Zhang Lu, 145 min, French subtitles), in which a professor returning to Korea for a funeral revisits the historic city of Gyeongju and develops an unusual relationship with a tea-house owner.
