The Day She Returns is the UK premiere of Hong Sangsoo's 84-minute drama, screening at the ICA on 17 and 19 September 2026. Song Sunmi stars as an actress who returns to acting after stepping back for marriage and divorce, taking a role in an independent film and doing press interviews as its release approaches. Through a series of increasingly intimate conversations, the film explores memory and performance. Screenings are ad-free and rated 18+.
