Atelier Najeon Chilgi

About this event

Led by artist Choi Jin Kyoung, this is confirmed to be a mother-of-pearl craft workshop: participants learn najeon chilgi, the traditional Korean art of mother-of-pearl inlay, using fine pieces of nacre to decorate an accessory of their choice - keychain, pendant, bolo tie, or phone stand - with patterns based on hangeul characters or words. It runs six sessions across October 21-23 (4:00-5:30pm and 6:30-8:00pm daily) at the Centre Culturel Coréen (Paris); free but requires advance Google Form registration (one slot per person), open to ages 6+ with minors accompanied by an adult.
